Garcia San Kitty
“Garcia” is a 7 year old registered AQHA.
D.O.B April 13, 2017
She is 14.2 HH
This girl is a very unique colour. She was bred and raised by me and was born a bright little Palomino!
Although not tested her sire is a Palomino Dun with Sooty gene, and he looked identical to her as a 2 year old.
Every year “Garcia” has been a different colour and we suspect she will continue to get darker.
Garcia had 30 days put on her as a 3 year old, and 30 days on her as a 4 year old. She was starting to get lightly patterned on the barrel pattern and was doing really well. For the past two years she has taken a break from the arena and have been riding in the trails and is quite confident by herself and with other horses. She crosses water and mud with ease.
She has never offered to buck, or bolt.
She is getting consistently better every ride we go on and is confident in most things that come in her path, she may need a little reassurance from time to time so not a beginner horse yet but I have no doubts she would be in the future.
I would say she would need a quick refresher in the arena but it wouldent take long to get her back in shape. Just has had a break from any structured arena work for the past little bit.
She has been hauled to multiple arenas and is great in new places, she has been hauled to a few barrel races just to be in the environment. She is currently with a big heard of horses and does fine in there, she has also been in a field with just 1 other horse and does fine with that.
She has seen cows, hasn’t worked with them but she is familiar with them.
She loads good and hauls good, although I haven’t taken her for long distances I don’t see that being an issue.
She is good with the farrier and has good black feet, has always been barefoot.
She maintains weight well.
She has a big heart and is looking to please someone.
She has had the winter off due to no fault of her own
I want her going to a home where she will be used more to her best potential.
Only posting her because I don’t have the time she deserves and we have lots of young horses right now. Life plans changed and I won’t be hauling to arenas often to ride.

Broke to drive and almost done it all. All kinds of field work(plow, disk, harrow, seed, cultivator, manure spreader, rake hay, haul squares, skidded logs, etc), sleigh rides, horse pulls, and fairs. We've tied young horses beside her to train them. Driven team mostly but also driven single, 3 abreast, and lead in 4 up at fair. Never been ridden, but could be with training. Good with feet, trims free hand and also been hot shod free hand. Has raised foals and is excellent mother. Decided to open some time up to take a few training horses under my wing again.
Specialize in problem horses including restarts, alley issues, desensitization, miles.
Have extensive experience in restarting abused rescue horses, restarts on problem horses, problem solving alley and box issues, and am always open to putting miles or getting horses back in shape.
Some restart horses below in the videos, couldn’t put a saddle on the first one when I got him in. Second wouldn’t run a barrel pattern without blowing up in the alley or on the pattern. Both successfully being ridden now by owners.
I keep my prices affordable so that people can help the horses that get over looked.

Sammy, 15yo QH cross gelding.
Roughly 15hh, haven’t taped him but can if need be.
Has lived with other horses, donkeys, mini horses, and cows. Does well with everything, lowest in the herd. Gets along with everyone.
Used to dogs, tractors, and other equipment/machinery.
Selling him as a companion horse, but could easily be a riding prospect with time and consistency.
We’ve had him for 2 years and he’s been awesome. Great companion for my boy, i simply do not have the time for him.
Sammy deserves someone with time to love him and put the time in.
The good: Sammy is good on the ground. Halter broke. Leads. Backs. Lifts feet. Good for the farrier.
The bad: is very herdbound and can get stressed when he is taken out alone. Was told he his a hard loader, but have not done anything with him so not sure how that could go. Can be pushy on the ground but is easily corrected.
I have ridden him a few times and he’s done well. He acts up really bad when he’s taken out alone due to his herdbound issues. When i take him out with my guy he does awesome. Follows along no problem. Saddles well. Not cinchy. Thrown a couple beginners on him without a problem. Ride him in a bitless bridle and does great. Have ridden him bareback without an issue.
Just needs some consistent work to get him goin nicely.

He is truly a very smart boy and has a lot of potential. He just deserves more time than i can offer right now. My loss, your gain, will be sad to see him go.

2020 grade appendix mare. 14.2hh. Has a nice w/t/l. More trail miles than arena miles. Rides out nicely alone or in a group. Stands quietly to bath, saddle, mount and dismount (ground or mounting block), trim her feet, and will stand nicely tied all day. Very used to dogs running around her. She is quiet, and not spooky. Goes quietly through the bush, river, field, and obstacles. Recently starded ponying other colts off her and she handles it very well. This 17 yr VSE gelding was eager to drive trails, swim and go on frequent adventures. Professionally trained. He is missing all the constant attention and needs a steady job. Like all of Lynx' babies, and looking at the size of mom, he's going to be tall and will fill out a lot, my best guess would be around 15.2hh. He's very easy going, very quiet and friendly. Like all the others, he grew up in a herd out on range, learned to cross water and deadfall and how to get around in difficult terrain. He's used to wildlife, livestock, dogs, heavy equipment, tractors, ATVs. Ready to go to his new home - come and see him! :-)

2007 Registered AMHA/AMHR Miniature Horse Appaloosa stallion. Excellent conformation. Blaze and one blue eye. He has a scar on his face, where hair doesn't yet grow in. Still a beauty, though. Produced beautiful, correct foals. I have a son and daughter that can be seen. Looking for his own herd or a home with more attention. We are retiring. We need another horse for our lesson program. This horse also needs to be able to step up to be my personal mount.
Preferences as follows: Mare, 16hh+, 6-12 age range. Can or potential to pack adult beginner - intermediate riders. All rounder type (western performance, trail, Hunter jumper EQ)
This horse does not need to be finished in any discipline but needs to be broke w/t/c w/j/l, and needing a refresher is fine but I’m not looking for a huge project at this time. Good mind, no vices, must pass PPE.
