Tilesetters cover interior and exterior walls, floors and ceilings with ceramic, marble and quarry tile, mosaics or terrazzo. They are employed by construction companies and masonry contractors, or they may be self-employed. Apprentices are also included in this unit group.
Prepare, measure and mark surface to be covered
Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets
Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel
Set tiles in position and apply pressure to affix tiles to base
Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges
Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
Install tile strips
Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs
Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces
Cut, polish and install marble and granite
Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
May prepare cost estimates and orders.

WHAT WE NEED?
Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot machine problems and devise solutions
Identify and correct any problems found in machines, equipment or processes in order to facilitate production
Maintain, repair and overhaul of plant production equipment, building and grounds
Provide quick response to trouble calls by shift supervisors and or operators/technicians.
Assist Operating Engineers in maintenance of plant utilities
Perform preventive maintenance and improvements or modifications to production equipment
Support projects including working on a project team in the design, installation and commissioning
Maintain complete and accurate records of shift logs, maintenance inspections and meter readings
Ensure smooth, efficient communication to the next team at shift change
Participates collaboratively in process improvement teams as required

Must hold a valid provincial certification as a Journeyperson Millwright License

Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to communicate well with operators.
Possesses intermediate math skills
Interacts and shares information with associates at all levels

Must be capable of working independently at a high level, dealing with contractors, other tradespersons, supervisors and line operators/technicians

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
• Responsible for the direction and control of equestrian tournaments at Thunderbird Show Park;
• Responsible for the overall scheme and flow of the schedule of roughly 1000 horses on a daily basis;
• Responsible for creating detailed and integrated schedules which include many technical combinations using equine proprietary software that is specifically designed for integration between our FEI Internationally Sanctioned Tournaments, the United States Equestrian Governing Body, and the Canadian Equestrian Governing Body;
• Arrive on site at 5:30 am daily and gather the information from the overnight sign up platform and amalgamate the scheduling data into the daily ring schedule;
• Adjust schedules as necessary, and considering the hourly maintenance of the rings;
• take in variables such as temperature, wind, sun, rain and usage to determine when the schedule and footing can have grooming sessions;
• perform other event management duties as required;
• control entrants into the Grand Prix ring during televised events; and
• communicate directly with producer of televised events to coordinate entry of horses into event.REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
• At least five years of experience in the management and coordination of equestrian tournaments is required;
• An affinity for horses is required; and

Bilingual Lead Generation Representative - Hybrid

As the Bilingual Lead Generation Representative, you will be supporting our outside sales representatives by developing, qualifying leads and booking appointments. Your persuasive abilities and creative methods will uncover potential new customers by gathering data, identifying future sales opportunities and confirming interest with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain contact with existing client base by supporting relationships and developing sales opportunities via calling/or email
- Pro-actively contact all prospects and identify qualified leads; acquire information regarding clients’ needs and satisfaction, lead nurturing, and customer info regarding expired equipment/buy-out requests
- Screen inbound leads using Marketing Automation software from sources such as website and landing page forms (Canon.ca), and direct phone calls
- Qualify leads and set up appointments for appropriate Outside Sales Representatives and follow-up on actions with sales and service
- Manage prospect lists and generate quality leads by scheduling product demonstrations and invitations to special events
- Update CRM (Salesforce) customer data and record information from new leads and prospects
- Achieve monthly quotas for closed business and Sales Qualified Leads in Salesforce
To Succeed, You Will Have:
- Experience in High-volume prospective customer calling, appointment setting, lead generation, and nurturing customer success
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft exciting emails that pique prospect interest and result in new business
- A high level of professionalism to understand customer issues and identify an appropriate resolution or response
- Strong project and process management skills to develop and continuously improve call scripts and take customer notes
- CRM and technical skills to enter data notes and lookup client information in Salesforce or other databases
- Ability to manage calls and email efficiently
