Hello, getting cabin fever something FIERCE! Wondering if there’s any odd jobs around? Trying to save up for a vehicle and my own place. Have to hold off on getting a legitimate job as apparently I’ll be leaving for 2 months “soon” but no definite date set as of yet and don’t want to pick up a job, have people take the time to train me and then have me peace out for 2 months. So will be looking for a more consistent full time job when I am back and can commit. But in the MEAN time, looking for something temporary. Hello. This idea was suggested to me by someone, I have never been in a situation like this before, I have no idea what to do. so here goes nothing.
My name is Nicole, I am from Alberta. I am now stranded here in Kelowna, due to a moment of complacency in which I put my bag down, turned away from it for a very brief second and gave someone the opportunity to take it. Which they most certainly did. Said bag contained my wallet, all of my identification, my money, my cell phone, bank cards, everything pertinent to me getting home.
Since that bag being taken, I have lost the remaining few bags that I had with me as well, which contained my toiletries, clothes, a bit of food. So I am on the streets now with absolutely nowhere to go, no food, no change of clothes. I have never been out on the streets before. It is very difficult to obtain identification without any identification. So I am stuck at a send still. I'm very hungry, tired cold needing to change my clothes and losing faith very quickly.
A good samaritan helped me out with a bit if money a few days ago opened a bank account for me to receive money in and gave me the idea to post this ad saying that there are alot of good people kelowna. I was hesitant to do this but I'm running out of options. I have set up an email for e- transfers if there is anyone willing to help me out so I can get some food and basic necessities while I try to figure out a way home. I would appreciate it more than you will ever know.
