Rhythmic influences include players like Jaki Liebezeit, Stephen Morris, and Justin Peroff. The approach values groove, restraint, and playing in service of the composition.

Genres are mainly punk songs but with some metal tunes thrown in. Guitar sound is a very thrash metal edge. We are adding in "punked up" versions of non-punk tunes into the fold. This is not a "soft" pop punk band.

Electric Crush, a local Classic Rock Cover Band seeking lead guitarist!!! Lineup includes a female lead singer that also plays keys and rhythm guitar, a bassist and drummer. We perform typically a couple times a month, sometimes a little more, at various venues, and our repertoire includes intricate songs that go beyond the usual cover band setlists. We're seeking a guitarist with a great tone, lots of energy and stage presence, who is proficient in playing complex classic rock and pop tunes, available for monthly rehearsals in Cambridge. We're a fun, dedicated group that loves making music together. You'll get to play songs that challenge your skills and stand out from the crowd, with regular gigs at popular venues.
We will travel approx 2 hours out of town for gigs - We are at Bowmanville Ribfest this year, and one of our favourite spots is Twisted Arm in Sarnia. We also play regularly at Sherkston Shores and have two gigs lined up there for this summer.
We have a number of gigs lined up and can likely fill the void with other guitarists while we get someone up to speed. We have a practice space at my house in Cambridge, and like to practice a weekday evening once a month.
We are in the band for fun an all have full time day jobs, kids and various other commitments. Ideally looking for someone in the age range of 30-50. We want someone to join us that is in for the long haul.

I’ve built a solid, cohesive catalog—these aren’t rough ideas; they are performance-ready pieces with tone, pacing, and delivery already established. I don’t sing (proficiently) or play, so I’m looking for a guitarist/vocalist who can help bring them to life.
The Project:
I have a completed 8-song EP fully mapped out—following a specific conceptual arc. The structure and emotional "pulse" of the project are set; I just need the right hands and voice to execute the vision.

Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. Hello there!
Due to my landlords' massive mortgage renewal increase, they are being forced to sell their home which suitably accomades me, and I am thus now looking for another suitable room/accommodation for a professional pianist who is very serious around practice.
I am currently creating an act with a professional cellist, and she and I need to be able to practice and rehearse several times a week for 4 hours.
I generally practice 10 hours per day. Some of the practice can occur via a headphone amplification system. However also need 'natural acoustics' (for all kinds of reasons) hence a music friendly environment is essential.

A local band that plays punk and hard rock originals (with a few covers) is seeking a new guitarist. The guitarists in the band split the leads and often have dual leads as well.
We are looking for someone who can do very technical leads to replicate our current lineup of songs and continue with the same feel for future new music.
We also need someone who can do backing vocals and who may here and there want to do lead vocals.
We have been described as NoFX meets Green Day meets Iron Maiden. So our stuff is catchy, and very riff-driven.
The band has been playing for a very long time. We are all in out mid to late thirties and have plenty of experience in the studio, on stage, or on camera doing music videos. We don't jam all the time, so there is not a huge time commitment. Generally once a month or before shows all depending on people's schedules. And we only jam on weekends.
We don't partake in anything "PC" and don't support divisive politics.
We do have a jam space as well where gear can be stored, though it can be a bit chilly in the winter so bringing a space heater is always a good idea.

Singer-Songwriter (male) looking for someone who plays violin, viola or cello who'd be interested in playing something that's pretty 'Rock'.
I already have original songs to learn, and am writing new ones. My focus is rarely on covers.
I've recorded an amount of instrumental music, having a skilled (or even passable) string player is of great value.
Extra bonus if you're open to adding pedals/effects into the mix...it's part of the language these days.
