Breathe Easy Eco Solutions is a COR certified company that does eco-friendly mould and asbestos remediation primarily in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. The Team Lead is responsible for successfully leading a crew of 2 to up to 8 individuals in demolition-type jobs. We provide training on remediation of both mould and asbestos.
Motivation, common sense, and a sincere desire to learn about mould, asbestos and demolition are key qualifications for this job. This position includes sustained physical labour and requires that one be physically fit and able to work with materials that can be heavy. This work is performed indoors and outdoors, in hot and cold temperatures. Travel from job to job is required and work is sometimes weather dependent.
Experience with abating asbestos and/or mould is an asset, and your pay rate will reflect that experience.
You should have an understanding of safe work habits in the construction industry. You will be managing customers on behalf of the company and a crew on behalf of the customer. You must be detail-oriented and know your own limits. We work with General Contractors as well as Sub Trades so you will need to be able to work together.
You need to be interested in the work and you can't be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will lead by example much of the time. You must have a valid driver's license and will need to provide a driver’s abstract. You need to be in good physical shape, and we require a resume and references. You may be included in the interviewing process for the purpose of recruiting new crew members to join our team.
Required to perform and assist in the following tasks:
- Attend work site, meet with customer; report and correct any discrepancies in coordination with the customer and Account Manager.
- Ensure the work site is protected from damage from work related activities and good housekeeping practices are followed.
- Ensure all equipment needed to complete the job is on site, is in good working order and is used appropriately.
- At the start of each job, ensue that a safety meeting is held with the crew and any on site contractors. This includes a hazard assessment, safe work practices/procedures, proper PPE, etc.
- During the job “think on your feet” - plan ahead, anticipate issues and troubleshoot any problems that arise.- Work efficiently – with speed and precision, while maintaining safety and without compromising the integrity of the company.
- Continuously develop an understanding of the work and offer suggestions for improvements and other efficiencies.
- Follow the written work orders; be flexible and be able to troubleshoot if required.
- Work as a member of the crew – not “just the manager”.
- Ensure that when job is complete, the work site is clean and no debris, supplies and/or equipment is left on site. Follow safe work practices and report safety issues.
- Report on crew performance during work hours.

JR Brothers Farms is a progressive grain farm located near Fannystelle, Mb. We grow a diverse rotation of cereal and oilseed crops as well as provide custom farm services.
We are currently looking for someone to join our team and aid in the day to day operations of the farm. Primary tasks will be hauling grain, tending to the seeding and spraying equipment, operating harvest equipment, yard duties and general maintenance.

Spud Plains Farms Ltd. is seeking experienced truck drivers for the upcoming potato harvest.
We run a fleet of well maintained tri axle trucks with live bottom potato boxes.
We have mechanics on the farm to service the trucks as needed.Our harvest season begins September 1 and runs until approx the first week of october.
