Rider Wanted
I’m looking for an experienced rider to join me a few evenings a week (typically between 5–7pm) to ride my haflinger mare.
She’s a good, solid horse, but not suited for beginners — I’m looking for someone confident, capable, and comfortable working with a responsive mare.
This is a free ride opportunity, not a traditional lease.
Riding would be with me present, not independent use of the property.
Requirements:
Riding experience (not suitable for beginners)
Helmet required
Proper footwear
Must obtain OEF membership
Ideally someone mature, reliable, and consistent with a quiet level headed way about them.
Cost:
No charge — just looking for the right person to enjoy some regular trail rides and some schooling.
If this sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out and tell me a bit about your experience.

This program is taught by one of the most experienced Use of Force instructors in Ontario, delivering the same high-level instruction used by professional security teams across the province.
Industry-Leading Training Built for Real Security Work

✔ Legal authorities and limitations under Ontario law
✔ Proper use of force decision-making and escalation levels
✔ De-escalation techniques to reduce and control conflict
✔ Arrest and detention techniques for security professionals

This training prepares security professionals to respond confidently and professionally to real-world situations they may encounter while working in the field.

Common environments where this training is required include:
• Retail and loss prevention
• Bars and licensed establishments
• Event security and crowd control
• Mobile patrol and response services
• High-risk commercial security environments
Even if your current position does not require Use of Force certification, having this training makes you more employable and qualified for higher responsibility security positions.

Hi everyone! I am a second year student attending uOttawa, currently doing my BCom in accounting. I am not in the CO-OP program but I’m looking to get some hands-on experience before graduating.
I was wondering if anyone knows of volunteering opportunities (bookkeeping/assistant/shadowing) during the Summer, possibly for a NPO or a small business that would be willing to mentor a student.
I plan on continuing to contact churches/charities/tax clinics, but it would be super appreciated if anyone here could point me in the direction of a role, or needs work themselves!
Happy to share my resume with anyone interested! Though I’m still building expertise, I can promise I’m eager to learn as much as possible. Also I am open to continue working (volunteering) throughout the school year!

I live in the Kanata area, but I am willing to take the transit system to get to you. If you like what you read, please send me a message...And we can take it from there. Thank you for reading and God bless you.

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.

From Confused to Confident in Math
“I understand it in class… but can’t solve it myself” — Let’s fix that.
That’s the most common thing students tell me.
Math isn’t about intelligence — it’s about how it’s explained.
What changes when you learn with me
Students usually come in:
Confused after class
Memorizing steps
Losing marks in exams
After a few sessions:
They recognize patterns
Solve without panic
Start explaining answers themselves
What I help with
School math (middle & high school)
Advanced functions / algebra
Calculus (intro to university level)
How sessions work
1-on-1 online (Zoom / Meet / Teams)
