I am in search of a trail horse for the whole family. We have no little kids, but the experience level of our riders goes from very green to experienced.
Looking for a horse that likes to be with people and doesn’t mind being loved on. One that loves the trails and wouldn't mind doing some camping trips.

I have decided to make this guy available. Yearling gelding. He was supposed to be a keeper as he is out of my main saddle horses/ponies. But with having many other horses to train and a few more foals on the way it does not make sense for me to keep him if I can find the right home. He is 3/4 morgan and is half registered. His dam is an amazing pony and has done it all from being a kids horse to mountian riding, parades, tricks, pulling a cart etc. I expect he will be just as versatile. His sire has also been super easy to train and work with. His dam is 13.2hh and sire is around 14.2hh, so will be the perfect size for kids/small adults. Guiness is a 5 year old, Purebred Gypsy Vanner Gelding (unregistered). He is 14hh with a very solid build and takes up a lot of leg.
Guiness has great feet, is good for the farrier, and was trimmed on June 24th. He trailers well, is easy to catch, and has had extensive groundwork. He has been ridden bareback and saddled, accepts the bit well, sides up to mounting aids, and stands quietly for mounting from either side. He has been ridden over obstacles and is going nicely at the walk and trot. He has been passed on the road by cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers without issue. He gets along well in the herd but is not herd-bound at all.
Good with fly spray. Loves his cookies (obviously). Lots of arena time and trail time.
No health issues at all. Never foundered.
Guinness is more Whoa than Go and has not offered to buck or bolt, but he is still green and needs more miles, so he is not suitable for a beginner yet. More than anything, he just needs some more confidence and does feed off the confidence of his rider. He has a solid foundation and is ready to find his next partner and begin a new adventure.
Absolutely adore this sweetie...he is very cuddly...but we need a much more seasoned horse for our very beginner riders.

Since getting her she has been regularly trimmed, dewormed and has also had her teeth done and is vaccinated. She is friendly but can still be hard to catch - I believe she will come around with more handling. Can catch her in a smaller pen and she easily goes in with a bucket of oats. Not mean at all! We sent her out for 3 months of training and she was patterned on the barrels but hasn't been hauled much. She has so much potential so it's a hard decision to sell her but at the moment I just can't give her my time.

Clark Kent 16 year old OTTB jet black with a star this guy is a big puppy dog. Was used for gymkana before I got him the last couple years he’s just been a trail horse. He could use a refresh and he needs someone with Pacience and knowledge. He has trouble lunging to the right and needs reassurance! He can also be hard to mount sometimes he will turn in circles, with consistent riding this gets way better. He is very broke and safe no buck bolt or rear. He can also be herd bound if he isn’t getting a lot of attention from his humans. This guy needs to be someone’s #1 and he’s sitting on the back burner with me because my husband doesn’t ride much at all. Other than those 3 things he’s a dream he is great for farrier, loves baths, loves his treats and pets. A good home is a must for this guy as we care about him a lot and are only parting with him because I don’t have the time to ride 3 horses right now. She does require attentive feeding while nursing, as she can lose weight easily and benefits from extra groceries during lactation and is currently still putting weight back on from a late weaning.

Requires no maintenance. Had low level dressage training before I got her but I trained her in jumping. I spent years competing and showing on her in English and jumping courses Up to 1.6m, many riding camps and clinics, trail. Bella over the last few year mostly trail rides and some arena work and ridden by my neices and nephews just around the farm. She does great over winter holds weight and condition really well. Bella is a sweet mare and loves attention but her jealous in large herd. She would suit someone looking to go the English and jumping route but could do just trail riding or lessons. Echo is a striking 15.2hh 6yr old mare (7 this spring), with a bold dorsal stripe and leg barring. She is green broke. Have taken her on trail rides up to 5hrs, and she does well in any terrain including beside highways and is not easily spooked. Very smart, will work hard, could be a great ranch, trail or performance horse with more work. She needs an experienced handler as she is pushy and has reared/kicked. Not for a beginner rider/trainer. I do not have enough time to continue her training and so am selling. She was used lightly last summer but will need a refresh before she is ready to hop on. "RLB Touch of Hickory", barn name Chai. Chai comes from a pedigree rooted in classic Quarter Horse performance and cow-horse heritage. She is sired by Ima Blue Firefly, who is Sired by Blue Lil Mister — carrying lines including Royal Blue Peppy San and Ebony's Class Pride — and out of Schade, with Brooksters Hickory on the bottom side, this filly blends old-school Peppy and Doc-style genetics known for cow sense, versatility, and solid work ethic in ranch, reining, and cow-horse environments. These bloodlines have historically produced dependable performers capable of ranch work, sorting, and arena events, making this youngster a great candidate for a future cow horse, ranch mount, or an all-around performance partner. Chai has siblings that work cattle operations, do mounted shooting, high school and college rodeo, trail ride, show, run barrels, and rodeo - they can pretty much do anything! She has a paternal brother who made it to the BCRA finals last year in his first year of rodeo.

She is solid boned and will have no problem standing up to a hard days work. Chai has been very well handled since weaning. She has approximately 12 rides now and did fantastic each time. Her first ride you'd have thought she was a 12 year old ranch gelding. She has no buck, bolt, rear or spook. She's been in an arena setting as a youngster, but all of her rides have been outside on the trails. There is not a mean bone in her body and she is lowest in the pecking order. Chai has been on a 6 week trim schedule since she was 6 months old. Just recently our farrier moved so she will be due here right away.
Chai is ONLY offered for sale (not on sale) because we are in the process of buying a place and a little extra cash would help. Located in Dawson Creek BC. Hauling is available.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m looking to find a new home for my two beloved geldings. Life is changing as I head back to school, and I just can’t give them the time, attention, and exercise they deserve. They have so much potential and need someone who can continue working with them and helping them grow.
✨ Palomino (15.2hh, 12 years old) – Full of energy and eager to work! He thrives with consistent groundwork and enjoys having a job to do. He’s spunky, responsive, and willing but needs an intermediate rider while he continues to build confidence.
✨ Grey (15.2hh, 12 years old) – A bit more on the calm side but can be spooky at times. He responds well to one-on-one exercises and gains trust through patience and consistent handling. Once he trusts you, he is a sweetheart!
Both are in great health, have had their teeth floated last fall, and are up to date on everything. They are from the same stud and have been ridden recently but do need continued groundwork. They are good with kids but will require an intermediate rider until further training is established.

Cappuccino
11 year old gelding that has done it all on the ranch, he has been ridden by multiple riders at many ranch rodeos, roped bulls, cows and calves, can walk calmly into a herd or run down a critter. He has one man doctored cows and calves, worked an alley and can sort and cut like a champ. He has started many colts in a round pen and can handle himself well ponying colts. measures at about 16 hands. He has been rode in a snaffle, hackamore, two rein and is now straight up in a half breed bridle bit. This horse can go all day and is one you can count on to get a job done. Cappuccino was used as our go to horse all of last summer on a 2000 head cow/calf operation, covered some big country, calving, doctoring, moving herds, and fencing. He is calm, quiet, and friendly. Anyone can ride him but has more whoa than go with a novice rider.

Unregistered Haflinger broodmares, all in foal to our registered Waylon JWA Haflinger stallion. All mares are easy keepers, easy and uncomplicated foalers and great mommas. Due to start foaling April 23/25. They are easy and good to work with and have given us multiple amazing babies. Ages are approx mid teens. Not broke to ride. Are halter broke and respectful on halter and trimming, have been trailered lots and no issues.

Casually looking for a kids pony/ horse, the ideal horse would be 13-14 hands and stockier build, more whoa than go! With absolutely no buck bolt rear kick bite or spook! Looking for a complete unicorn and as safe as a horse can be (yes I understand a horse is still an animal with their own brain) very knowledgeable horse home. Currently riding leadline on a mini but need the next size up as our boy is getting a bit big for his mini! Want one under 18 so we can have many years with the same horse and then will be for our daughter to move up to when she’s older aswell.
