This was a very unexpected, once-in-a-lifetime combination, and the pups are best described as toy Border Collies. Based on their size and build, they will likely stay under 20 lbs and may not grow much bigger than their mother but will have long Border/Aussie coats like their father.
At Wright Gully Farm and Frontier Arts Club, we’ve been occasionally breeding our multi-generational Australian Shepherd x Border Collie pet/working dogs and our Jack Russell/Teddy Roosevelt Terriers for over 9 years. We focus on the very best qualities of our intelligent, loyal farm companions to produce well-rounded, family-friendly, highly trainable dogs.
All of our pups are lovingly home-raised as part of the family and are:
Extremely well socialized with people of all ages, from little children to adults. Comfortable with barnyard animals and everyday farm life and raised alongside multiple generations of their canine family
These pups have been dewormed multiple times since birth using a Strongid-T protocol and are used to having their nails trimmed. They are eager to please, quick to house train, comfortable outdoors, and quickly learning basic commands and good manners.
Our dogs are fed high-quality holistic organic dry food along with plenty of homemade organic dog cookies. We focus on building strong immune systems and balanced gut health. Routine veterinary care and vaccinations are left to adopters so you can work directly with your own veterinarian and choose the protocol you are most comfortable with.
Although we have never produced this exact cross before, this gorgeous litter of 6 has turned out beautifully. Most resemble small Border Collies in coat and colouring, with bright, affectionate, people-oriented temperaments. They are very intelligent, highly trainable, and moderate barkers, usually only vocal when excited.
You can meet both parents here on the farm, along with multiple generations of their lines.
In all our years of raising dogs, we’ve found that our pups choose their people. Because of this, we require that interested families come to the farm in person to meet us and the pups and see whether it feels like the right fit.

Update: Only 2 female & a male puppy left out of 13. All the individual puppy photos are recent. I have 2 sisters that had their puppies a day apart. Mothers are ABCA blue merel border-collies and dad is a CBCA red and white. All 3 parents have been DNA health tested and have OFA hip and elbow certificates. We have blue merel faced boy and girl named Tommy and Christie and a tri faced female named Freya. Puppies have been raised with the program called ENS and socialized with car rides to a few local businesses. Weather permitting we take them swimming. We have a large puppy playground where we socialized all 13 puppies and it's a wonderful place to interact with new families.Puppies are learning parkour on their own, using the swing to play and nap along with the other stimula we setup for them. Puppies get bathed here to get them use to being washed. Mom and babies are all dewormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks, and nails trimmed. We are constantly touching their feet from birth so we never have problems with nail trims. Puppies have been vet checked and received their 1st & 2nd set of shots plus kennel cough. They have also been treated with Nexgard monthly chew for flees & ticks. Puppies have been to the VCA and had hearing test done. Everyone passed and they have their 1st certificates. They go home with a special puppy package that includes a harness,leash, food,a blanket, insurance information and a booklet made just for your puppy with his or her information and articles on raising your border-collie puppy. We have 2 male guinea pigs, approximately 3 years old, available free to good homes.
*Important: These boys cannot live together. Male guinea pigs can be territorial, and ours must be housed separately to prevent fighting and injury.
They have been regularly handled, are friendly, and make wonderful pets. We are not including cages, but we can provide enough food to help you get started for the first week or so.
Our priority is finding responsible, caring homes. These are beloved family pets and will only be rehomed to people who intend to keep them as pets. They are not available as food for snakes, lizards, or other animals. We are giving them away as our kids have mostly moved out on their own now and we do not have the time to care for them properly.

Second breeding pair is an all black female and deep gray male. Bunnies are 1 white, 1 white with black markings, 1 black, 2 deep gray, all unsexed. This breed of rabbit is very large (10-15lbs). They are a great breed for meat rabbits but also make great pets. I also have 2 large enclosures and 2 medium enclosures. I can provide a starter portion of feed, bedding and hay.
