We do not anticipate any psychological or physical risks to participants.
To thank you for your time, couples will receive up to $130 CDN (up to $65 per person CDN) in Amazon.ca gift certificates.

Hi, my name is Carla Klassen and I am an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter here in Saskatoon. I lead a monthly practice group for people wanting to better their fluency in ASL. All activities can be modified to meet your signing abilities. If you are new to ASL and are thinking about taking classes but would like to try it out first, this is a great place to see if you like it. If you are learning sign and need people to practice with, this group is for you. If you are fluent and would like to help out, we would love to have you join us. All levels of sign ability are welcome. It is FREE to attend! No materials required, just your hands.
There is no need to register ahead of time, simply show up and join us!
We will meet on Thursday, Feb. 16th from 5:30-7:00pm to practice our skills. We will be meeting at “Western Redi Mix” 131 - 105th East in their staff room. Enter the building on the North side and head upstairs to meet us in the staff room at the end of the hall to practice.
We will be practicing country name signs and discussing trends in ASL.
I hope to see you there!

Years ago, I wrote a murder mystery play. I really got into the characters. By the last scene, I had to decide myself who got murdered and who the murderer was. So now, I'm thinking, in this time of covid, a group of players could get on zoom. And, for $25, I could email each player a pdf file of the play without the last scene. On zoom, the players in the group would have to guess who was murdered and who the murderer was. The captain of the group would then read the last scene. The winner would win the pot that the group had set up for themselves.
