This position would provide care for an elderly male who lives with his wife near St. Clair Avenue and Vaughn Road in Toronto. He is 92 years old and has limited mobility as he is coming home shortly from a rehab hospital in Toronto. Initially the shifts will be 12 hours during the day 5 to 7 days per week. This will likely involve two staff members to cover all these shifts. The job will involve assisting in his mobility (helping him from bed to wheelchair as he recovers his mobility), bathing, dressing, etc.
His son lives there and can help as needed.
Shifts will be 7 days a week about 8 to 12 hours per day.
Require:

- possible use of Hoyer lift
- speak and read English well

Seeking reliable, energic nurse (RPN or RN) to work with a child who is ventilator and wheelchair dependant, and requires 24/7 airway monitoring.
Shifts: every other Saturday (ie 2/month) and 2 evenings/week. More shifts available if interested.
Pay Rate: starting at $33/hour (RPN rate)
During your shift you will be responsible for:
- managing respiratory care (including ventilator and suction machines),
- managing trach care,
- g-tube feeds,
- managing gtube care,
- administering medications,
- using a cough assist (an artificial cough assistant device),
- Range of motion, physio,
- experience with Hoyer lift,
- activities of daily living (ADLs), and
- General care as needed.
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted licence to practice through the College of Nurses of Ontario
- A valid driver’s licence and vehicle

I am seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to assist me as Personal Care Attendants. I am a 34-year-old male living with C5/6 quadriplegia. No experience is required. $22 - $25/hour. **Not a cash job**
I work full time, 9-5 Monday through Friday and drive using adapted controls in my van. I try to be as independent as possible but my physical limitations mean that I largely depend on the help of others to carry out certain essential daily activities on a routine basis. Assistance is required in the mornings to get me out of bed, in the evenings to assist with toileting and getting me back into bed, as well as some afternoons and evenings for meal prep and light housekeeping.
Available Shifts:
Mornings
• Mon to Fri - up to 2 hours starting around 6am
• Sat, Sun - up to 2 hours starting around 8am
Evenings
• Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat - 1 -2 hours starting around 8pm
• Sun, Tues, Thurs - Up to 3 hours starting around 7:30pm (bm routine)
There will also be some afternoons on weekends and earlier evenings during the week that I will require assistance with meal prep and/or light housekeeping.Anyone that is hired will be put on payroll and will be subject to regular payroll deductions including CPP contributions, Employment Insurance premiums and Income Tax.
Vacation Pay will be calculated based on the amount you earn and will be added to each pay cheque.
Hourly wages will be paid bi-weekly by cheque only (no cash, etransfer or direct deposit).

About the Role:
The role’s mandate will be to provide general support to the human resources team and to assist in the facilitation of all human resources programs, and functions. Your Responsibilities:

- Under the guidance of the Human Resources Business Partner maintain the organization structures, audit and address any discrepancies or points of concern with the Human Resources Business Partner.

Your Skills and Qualifications:
- A University or College Diploma, preferably in business specializing in Human Resources, or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator/Assistant, preferred
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
- Highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, and attention to detail.
- Good relationship management skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels within and outside the organization.
