Construction of new and existing sites
Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.
Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications
Work with a variety of pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing instruments to measure and control variables
Interpret and use appropriate CSA, ISA and API installation standards and practices
Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation, diagnose faults and tubingEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

JOB SUMMARY:
The labourer is responsible for assisting the carpentry, painting, drywall and/or emergency services crew in completing their assigned tasks. He/she requires the skills to handle tools and materials accurately, efficiently, and safely. Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, eye-hand coordination, physical fitness, and a sense of balance are important. Ability to follow instructions and directions given by their crew leads.
JOB DUTIES:
As a labourer your duties may include, but are not limited to:
1. Assist in remediation and demolition work within the Emergency Services Department for a variety of residential, commercial and specialty construction clients in a 24/7 operation; possibility of 40+ hours per week
2. On-call and emergency response responsibilities and the availability to rotate on-call shifts after hours and weekends for emergency calls
3. Move or elevate any and all building contents that might be damaged permanently
4. Provide digital photos before, during and after emergencies and repair process
5. Learn and recognize contents listing policies and assist when required
6. Assist with demolition of fire claims, help with cleaning and other claims as required
7. Read all chemical labels including proper mixture amounts as per label
8. Ensure all documentation associated with assigned tasks is filled out accurately, completely and turned in promptly for proper invoicing
9. Maintain daily tracking of personal timesheet and job locations and tasks. Ensure that information recorded on timesheets is accurate and legible.
10. Phone clients on arrival times and keep clients aware of projected job timelines (refrain from discussing claim coverage or items not related to your trade with the customer)
11. Maintain proper hygiene
12. Knowledge of some basic carpentry, painting and/or drywall
13. Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
14. Knowledge of workplace safetyPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The labourer must have the ability and endurance (especially during inclement weather) to perform physically demanding and strenuous work requiring considerable standing, crawling, climbing, bending, lifting, and reaching overhead. About the Role
Our HSSE Field Advisor is a demonstrated collaborator to work with a various group of people for the development and implementation of HSSE behaviour and culture in the operations and maintenance of the Asset. We are seeking an individual who enjoys hands on work that has extensive knowledge in the application of the HSSE manuals, processes, and procedures for our team to create injury free operations in a hazardous environment. This is a role for an individual that enjoys spending 50% of their time in the field.
The HSSE Field Advisor key role is to support the Asset HSSE team in the readiness, implementation, and monitoring performance of the HSSE Management Systems within the LNG Canada HSSE Control Framework. The HSSE team will be focal point for the processes and procedures delivered for the site to make it easier for our workforce to work safely were we welcome their insights and inputs. These will ensure that the controls we are creating within the HSSE Framework fit the task being performed on site.

Additional role elements as organization becomes more operational:
- Perform continual inspection/field-walks and review of jobs for safe work practices (all HSSE aspects). Pro-actively ensure that all activities in the day-to-day operations are executed with no harm to personnel, environment and equipment and in accordance with agreed procedure.
- Perform Material Offloading facility (MOF) and marine terminal walk downs, marine terminal pre-arrival and post-departure inspections and reporting site deficiencies for awareness and rectification (i.e., Damage to facilities, maintenance issues, ergonomic design safety issues and failed safety barriers around the marine terminal)
- Support marine vessel quality assurance commitments including inspection, observation, and reporting
- Conduct and/or participate in Internal Assurance Audit Process, with focus on PTW, LOTO, LSR, PSF and Contractor HSSE Management auditing process.
- Implementation and support of HSSE initiatives such as campaigns, Coaching Based Intervention programme and HSSE alerts and learning’s cascade.
- Knowledge of and experience with coastal marine operational activities including vessel operations, port, and marine terminal operations, & Canadian Marine Emergency response system.
- Conduct and/or support initial investigation of incidents & near misses to enable a continuous improvement and learning culture.
- Identify HSE threats in the production unit and analyse common threats associated in the others onsite.
- Support on site HSE for all the turnaround and Major projects in assigned Areas.
- Review Asset investigations output to improve HSSE systems, processes, and procedure to support run and maintain activities that are resilient to cope with human errors.
- Be curious and communicate new Standards or Regulations are issued and/or published.
To be successful, you will have:
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
- Occupational Health and Safety program from accredited university and technical school is desired.
