We are currently seeking a full-time excavator operator. Prior work in a rock quarry considered a huge asset.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for sorting different sized rocks into designated piles.
You will be required to load trucks with rocks as per order specifications.
Follow direction from the shift boss.
Required to operate other machinery when neededMonday to Friday with the occasional Saturday. Wages will be based off experience.

Position Summary
We are looking for an Agricultural Intern to join us for a 3+ month period, starting in May 2024. This position is based in Grand Falls, New Brunswick as part of our North American Agriculture team.
During your internship, you will have exposure to grower relations, crop monitoring and intelligence, raw product alignment, cost of production, research and applied science and extension activities including agronomy and sustainability, and the general operation of a commercial agriculture department. You will also see firsthand how McCain's potatoes are produced and processed into finished product for our customers.
You will be exposed to McCain manufacturing operations and will have the opportunity to complete a series of in-house training modules that are part of a wider McCain Agriculture training program.
Upon successful completion of the internship as well as completion of a diploma or degree in an agriculture field, you will be a step ahead of other candidates considered for full time employment within McCain Foods LTD.

What You Will Be Working On
As an intern, you will be in a support position at the local office to research and analyze data to improve crop management in the area. Work is planned and conducted under the guidance of the Agronomist and with advice from the Department Manager. Projects may include the following:- Assist in developing research needed to determine best practices for sustainability goals
- Investigate pest/disease management practices in the local area
- Statistical evaluation to identify best practices and data trends
- Track and evaluate potato varieties and their performance in the factory
- Monitor and analyze internal raw product inspection procedures
- Educate local growers on new field production and storage management techniques through written material, field demonstrations, tours, seminars, and workshops
- Promote relations between company and growers through periodic farm and storage visits
- Assist in collection and analysis of grower field and/or bin sampling program

What You Need to be Successful- College Junior/Senior or Undergrad majoring in Ag Science, Plant Science, Ag Business, Ag Economics or closely related discipline
- Knowledge of farm practices and vegetable production is desirable but not necessary
- Basic to Intermediate skills in word processing, spreadsheet, data management and presentation preparations. Statistical computer application would be beneficial
- Communication skills – must be able to speak effectively both to individuals as well as to groups, making short presentations in groups settings, familiar with video conferencing
- Must be able to write routine correspondence and reports to a variety of audiences
- A valid driver's license, comfortable flying/driving long distances

The role also serves as a functional lead and will be instrumental in leading the Process Optimization initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Serves as functional lead for process optimization using statistical data, including performing design of experiments on the production line and the development of functional process control models.
- Lead training efforts in the application of statistical methods in Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Assist in the development and execution of Process Control training programs to ensure proper training of all Quality personnel.

- Assist in initiation and implementation of the preparation of new or revised product specifications, process parameters, and procedures.
- Liaise with Sanitation personnel and assist where applicable in the setting of sanitation targets and objectives that compliment company policies and goals.

Your Contribution
As a Civil Engineering Technologist, you will work in collaboration with the Civil team
Your main responsibilities will be:- Ensure safety protocols are met at all times
- Site Inspection of municipal, transportation and private engineering projects;
- Support Project Engineer/Manager on daily tasks like: preparing proposals, change orders and reports;
- Provide clear and concise reporting to supervisors;
- Concept design, and detailed design of municipal infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D;
- Developing construction project cost estimates ;
- Understand and summarize defined project scope and address required changes;
- Prepare contract documents and construction drawings;
- Survey with Total Station and GPS;
- Execute projects in accordance with company guidelines and standards;
- Provide feedback and innovative ideas;
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.

- A combination of education and work experience will be considered;
- Experience in Autocad Civil 3D
- High level of integrity and work ethic;

We are a mixed grain and cattle family farm operation in Beechy, SK. We are seeking a full-time labourer to join our farm, who possesses a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion to succeed.
Accommodations are available. Related experience in a similar agriculture operation is preferred. Class 5 license is required. Class 1A is preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidate.

For our farm located near Kyle, Saskatchewan. Accommodation can be provided. Related experience in an agricultural setting would be an asset.
