Responsibilities:
Through planning, preparing and delivering quality class instruction and slides based on the approved curriculum, the instructor provides an enriching learning environment for students by using career-oriented teaching methods.
The main teaching content should cover:
1) An overview of the cyber threat landscape and the impact on the public.
2) A deep analysis of threat vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
3) Confidentiality integrity and availability including vulnerability assessment model, goal and tools.
4) Cyber protection defence and mitigation including network security and hardening.
5) Overview of cyber security employment sectors and job opportunities in public and private sector in Canada.
6) Overview of cyber security certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or OSCP from CompTIA, ISC, ISACSA etc.
The instructor helps students stay engaged and ensure that students are progressing effectively. The instructor works under the guidance and supervision of the Training Manager.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, cyber security, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in cyber security or a related field.
• At least 1 year of teaching or training experience in cyber security or a related field.
• Strong employment network of contacts with other professionals, organizations and employers.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable ability to convey the conceptual and applied aspects of knowledge to a broad range of students.

The candidate will be responsible for the development, refinement, testing and execution of proprietary control software and rudimentary vehicle dynamics software. The position will require the candidate to support and lead the integration activities related to our Nonlinear Electro-Mechanical Brake (NEMB) technology. The role requires a hands-on, motivated and broadly capable engineer with demonstrated capabilities spanning electronics and computer systems, BLDC motor control, embedded software, and complex mechanical products. Some of what you will do:Provide specialist capability in the development, refinement, integration, testing and debugging of software for newly developed electro-mechanical braking systems from initial prototype through to production.Support and lead client facing engagements to modify Remmen’s proprietary software to suit customer control module requirements.Develop the expertise to be a ‘hands-on’ software and controls expert for the NEMB, with intimate and deep knowledge of how the system is built, functions and meets its goals.Create test methods, software, scripts and hardware to support system integration and test activities.Build, deploy, and support instrumented test setups, functional mock ups and lab configurations per test plans.
