Courtland is looking for a Mechanic Assistant to join our Team in Tillsonburg, Ontario. The Mechanic Assistant is required to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of vehicles and also equipment such as mowing tractors, loaders, snow removal equipment, salt spreaders, etc. The candidate must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, dismantle, align, assemble and adjust mechanical equipment and machinery to maintain it in efficient operating condition. Work assignments will be received in the form of oral or written work orders, but the employee is expected to determine the nature and extent of needed repairs. This position is permanent full-time with some on/call duties during the winter season.
Requirements:
Possess a valid drivers license
Proven mechanical abilities in gas and diesel automotive repairs
Knowledge and experience in electrical diagnostic and repair
Hydraulic knowledge and experience
Welding is an asset
Ability to work independently in a busy environment
Experience with routine maintenance operations
Able to work well under pressure
Strong attention to detail

We are hiring full-time restaurant shift manager. Previous food handling or customer service experience is required. Must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Job Requirements:
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction, including handling guest complaints and issues and communicating with them.
- Respond accurately to customer complaints and respond to them in a timely fashion
- Ensure you are regularly reviewing the quality of food, and researching vendors locally as well.
- Scheduling and supervising shifts, including responsibility for the correct number of hours scheduled by taking the rush hours into account.
- Review staff performance regularly, and be responsible for hiring.
- Be up to date with all equipment maintenance.

- Control operational and food costs and identify measures to cut waste and improve operations in-store

- Train new employees and review their performance.
