Looking for a female PSW/Caregiver for my elderly parent with atypical Parkinson’s disease.
Need someone who is Reliable to show up Monday to Thursday. You will also need to be physically fit in order to help another PSW lift the patient off the bed and transfer her to a wheelchair, or to and from the toilet. If you have mobility issues then this job is not suitable for you.
My mom is cognitive but her mobility is deteriorating.
Tasks include: feeding, mouth care, range of motion exercises, safe transfer to wheelchair and to bathroom, PEG tube flushing, giving medications, cleaning dishes, showering, housekeeping, making pureed food in the blender and helping to take her to appointments.

We are a small family run homestead looking for a FARM HAND / General Laborer person in Bancroft area, who can help with putting up fences, do general property maintenance, clean out the barn. Basic carpentry skills like framing, building simple sheds is an asset. Other general work as needed including, cutting and splitting firewood, etc. Farm experience with large and small animals is nice to have; experience working with farm and garden equipment; must be capable of heavy lifting, good work ethic, honest, proven reliability, able to safely work alone and on a team.
Experience is nice to have but more importantly, the individual must have strong work ethic, be honest and reliable. Must have safety shoes / boots available. This role involves working with concrete forming systems, assisting with setup and dismantling of structures, and maintaining a clean and safe work area across various locations within commuting distance of the main headquarters.
Responsibilities:
-Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades according to site requirements and safety standards.
-Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to support forming and finishing activities.
-Assist with setting up and moving concrete frames, including duraform systems, to prepare for concrete pours.
-Support formsetting activities by positioning, securing, and adjusting forms as directed.
-Clean, sort, and neatly pile salvaged materials to ensure they are ready for reuse or removal.
-Remove rubble, debris, and waste materials from construction sites to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Essential Skills:
-Concrete labor experience, including working with concrete forming and pouring activities.
-Hands-on experience with setting up and moving concrete frames, including duraform systems.
-Ability to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
-Comfort performing heavy labor and lifting for extended periods in a construction environment.
Work Environment/Shifts:
This role is based on day shifts, typically running from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with work conducted at various construction sites within about one hour of the main headquarters in Dashwood, ON.
