In this full-time permanent position as a Yard Worker, you will be working outdoors with Rebar, loading/unloading trailers, and trucks, and moving inventory around the yard.
You may be required to push, pull, and move the rebar manually when required and provide additional support to production employees.

OR Afternoon Shift - 2:00PM TO 12:00AM 4 days, 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday
Wage expectation: $22-26+/hr hour based on experience

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of gantry crane
- Communicate with fellow teammates to ensure a collaborative and safe environment
- Unload rebar using the overhead crane and navigate it to the proper area
- Load cut and shaped rebar onto the trailers for distribution
- You may be required to lift and move the rebar by hand when required and provide additional support to production employees
- Assist with warehouse duties such as picking and pallet packing when needed
- Work closely with a team to ensure are ready or transport by deadline given
Qualifications
- Recent experience operating gantry in an industrial facility an asset
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable loading and unloading trucks in a bay area multiple times a day
- Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted as needed
- Strong communication skills + a collaborative mindset
- Safety-conscious mindset and basic math skills
- Must have your own transportation as there is no public transit available
- Legally permitted to work in BC, Canada

Responsibilities
• Operate Reach Truck
• Handle all incoming shipments.
• Perform verification of purchased products and enter order receipts into WESCO’s computer system.

• Place received material, after segregating backorders, into proper warehouse storage locations. When appropriate, relocate and consolidate material and notify management of new bon/table locations.

• Record verbal/written complaints from customers concerning dissatisfaction with product or service provided. Process the complaint by responding to the customer with the action taken to correct the problem or directing the complaint department supervisor/manager where necessary.
• Maintain counter stock as needed.
• May assist with over the counter sales.

Shipper/Receiver (Richmond, Coquitlam)
This position follows established procedures to perform tasks including: receiving, verifying and stocking inventory in the warehouse; pulling and verifying orders for delivery to customers, job sites and to our clients facilities; and providing customer service at the branch.
Shift: Days, Afternoons and Graveyards
Pay: $18-$21/hour depending on experience
Job Duties:
Verifies incoming and outgoing orders/shipments
Loads and unloads trailers
Provide a high level of customer service
Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed in a timely manner by courier or by delivering with company vehicle
Packs, unpacks, sorts and stores incoming shipments and orders, verifying against purchase orders/invoices

Ensures the yard and warehouse are clean and organized
