Agricultural Equipment Technician
We are looking to fill a permanent and fulltime position as a certified Agricultural Equipment Technician specialized in European made equipment, for our Company in Pouce Coupe, BC as soon as possible. We service agricultural equipment and tractors made by European manufacturers, and we are therefore requiring a technician with this specialized skill set.
Your main duties will include:
• Check agricultural equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• knowledge of European agricultural equipment and tractors
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• Service attachments and working tools such as harvesting, tillage, haying and feeding equipment
• Setup and PDI new farm equipment.
Employment requirements:

Looking for a responsible and caring nanny to join our family in North Vancouver, British Columbia. We have one lovely child in primary school and are in need of a nurturing caregiver to provide part-time care. Our preference is for the nanny to live in, but live-out arrangements will be considered. Presently, we have an au pair with us until end of June, though she is flexible with an earlier departure as we search for our next nanny/au pair. We need before and after school care, if the start date is before end of June - from 7:45-8:45 each morning and then from 2:50-5:00ish each evening. Some days will see after school activities or play dates with friends. Summertime will have day camps most weeks, where we will need support getting our son to and from these camps as they usually run from 9-3 or 4. There will be a week or two where we will be away on vacation where you can have a break of your own.
If a live-in role is right for you, we provide a private bedroom and half bath included in room & board. There is some light housekeeping and meal prep as well as my husband runs his own business and I have a full-time job. We've had two live-in au pairs and it's been a lovely fit for us.
