We are seeking an eager self-starting Harvest Vessel Deckhand to join our Harvest Team based out of Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick.
Reporting to the Harvest Vessel Captain, the duties of this job requires the use of harvest vessel equipment and an understanding of proper fish handling to successfully offload fish from the vessel to the plant or trucks without compromising quality.
Harvest Deckhands perform general maintenance work so that the vessel deck is clean, safe and operational.
The successful candidates must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Marine Emergency Duties (MED) certificate as well as a valid passport and be able to enter into the United States.
A willingness to travel and work flexible hours are a requirement of this position. Preference will be given to applicants with harvest vessel experience.

● Provide guidance and support to students on educational matters, including course selection, scheduling, school timetables, and attendance concerns
● Assist with registration, course scheduling, and other tasks related to academic advising
● Counsel students regarding course and program selections, create academic plans that align with their preferences, and assist with future career exploration and planning
● Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and agencies to provide comprehensive support for students, ensuring access to necessary educational resources
● Visit partnered colleges to gather academic information for prospective students, parents, and educational agencies
● Monitor and evaluate student progress and academic performance

Who you are:
Experienced Licensed Red Seal Automotive Mechanic / Technician
Perform work as assigned on work orders with efficiency, safety, and accuracy in accordance with dealership, factory, and regulatory standards
Ability to diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction and perform repairs as authorized in a timely manner
Note any other repair, maintenance, or safety concerns observed on customer vehicles and advise service desk
Import/domestic Dealership Experience is an asset
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Maintain cleanliness of service bays and equipment used and shop area generally
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have your own tools
Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate considered an asset
Positive attitude and patience for fellow apprentices

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Industrial Mechanics are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the processing plant’s stationary equipment. To be successful, we are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills and has the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental
- Maintain and service the processing plant’s stationary equipment including, pumps, gearboxes, chain-drive, conveyors, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Install, inspect and repair of mechanical and hydraulic components
- In certain components of this role it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson’s Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Previous mining experience is an asset

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Disassemble and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, breaks, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical systems and lubrication systems
- Providing innovative solutions and best practices
- Diagnose, maintain and repair mobile off road mining equipment including haul trucks, graders, bulldozers, excavators, shovels, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Working with brands including CAT, Komatsu, P&H, Hitachi, John Deere, Letourneau, Volvo, Marion upon others
- Willing to relocate near Sparwood, B.C.
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson’s Heavy Duty Mechanic or Heavy Duty Technician Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous mining experience is an asset
