Job Duties:
-Prepare subject material for presentation to students based on an approved curriculum
-Use a systematic plan of lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentation, and other methods to teach students
-Prepare, administer, and correct tests
-Evaluate progress of students and determine individual needs and discuss results with parents and school administration
-Participation in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops where required
-Be a role model and support the mission of a faith-based school system and collaborate with a dynamic team of faith-based educators and administrators
Employment Requirements:
-Degree in education
-Candidate must be eligible for NAD and provincial certification
-Have at least three (3) to five (5) years of direct experience as a secondary school teacher
-Have direct experience in delivering a faith-based curriculum including bible study
