located in Tweed,we have 300 acres of bush land with a vast amount of trails for walking,snow shoeing,cross country skiing,Snow mobliling,ponds for family skating,tons of animal activity for photography,etc. In 2022 our farm was hit with a F2 Tornado that destroyed 200+ acres of our land and we have spent the last two years trying our best to rebuild our property back to our version of its original form all out of our own pocket. Our intentions before the storm was to make it a safe haven for families to do activities together and ultimately build cabins on it as well ( which will be happening this year). We currently do have a cabin available to rent for the night as well. Sleigh holds up to 12 adults, wagons hold about 20 adults and I have 2 available for larger groups if required One is a covered trolley style and the other is a flat rack for hayrides. Carriage is a romantic Victoria designed for 2 passengers for special occasions.
Prices for rides departing from the farm: $40.00 harnessing fee + $25.00/adult & $15.00/kids under 12. Most rides run an hour in length. Sleigh rides are through the fields and woods, wagon and carriage rides are along quiet country lanes.

Trent University and Sir Sandford Fleming College students are invited to join the Kenshokan Martial Arts group for training in karate and iaido (traditional Japanese swordsmanship of the samurai).

All we ask in return is to help out on different projects. We are looking for people that are interested in getting a self sufficient pioneer life style farm going, and raising all our own animals, and vegetables and reap the rewards. No experience necessary, since we can teach you. We are fully experienced and have 300 acres to this on. What ever your interests you can do and learn anything you want from building shelters to growing and preserving all types of food etc. in this old time self sufficient setting. Everybody has an opportunity to develop their own skills and talents. This is an opportunity that will grow into a way of life for you. We have a lot of experience to offer people that want to learn, as this is the way we live year around. Even if you want to be a weekender and learn and do things related to this life style. It costs nothing to talk. Camping spots are always available. We are going to start up the garden now, and the are plots to do your own thing. The crux of it all it is all about life and self sustaining living skills. They have to be acquired by real life experience. I am going to do an experiment in planting potatoes seeds versus planting seed potatoes. Currently we are making lots of kefir and kombacha right now. As an ensemble dedicated to mentoring young performers, Arcady would like to extend an invitation to any youth interested in joining us for this performance. Auditions are not required for anyone under the age of 18. There is no official registration fee; however, the youth choir is no longer sponsored and donations are encouraged. Looking for farmers fields to do metal detecting for items of long ago. I do a you tube channel dedicated to metal detecting and find history. Farmers fields and turn of the century homes are a great place to look, So please if you own farm fields, or know someone who does, id love to spend time searching, also it will help pull iron and other trash out of the field, id be very grateful to search your acres.
