This is not consignment - you must be there in person during your rented time in order to sell and take payments for your products. We rent by the day so you can choose what works best for you. We like to provide a good variety of products for our customers to browse and buy, as such we do not duplicate vendor types on the same day. My name is Dianne Hoffman. I am organizing this fundraiser for myself; I sustained a permanent injury from a drunk driving accident and was left with permanent nerve damage in my right shoulder, leaving me with very limited mobility to perform the simplest of daily tasks. I have gone through physio, have consulted with 3 orthopedic surgeons, in Saskatchewan and through Calgary. No one would do any surgery with the fear of leaving me without the complete use of my arm. I have 2 beautiful 11 year old daughters..fur babies who are my world, and cares for them on my own. I receive a limited benefit from Saskatchewan Government Insurance, however, it is not enough to enable myself get medical assistance such as motorized scooter, walker, proper cane( lightweight with rubber bottom), and medicinal cannabis, CBD OIL, and herbs to aid in pain relief and inflammation. I was being given many different prescription drugs and ended up falling very ill from taking them; after consulting a Dr via HealthLine, I was told that the drugs had many warning signs and was told to immediately stop taking them. That lead to months of being sick and having vertigo, and starting research into natural herbs and medicine. I am now paying out of pocket for all my medicine. .. I was sent to Dr Lang, a pain specialist in Regina, SK by my G P in 2021 after I got sick. I was given a referral to get medicinal cannabis and Dr Lang submitted it to SGI. 3 months later, I was refused. I appealed and another 3 months later, was again refused, stating it was only used for cancer patients. This lead me down a whole different world of nature medicine. It has been a difficult long road to live as independent as possible while experimenting with different kinds of cbd oils, hemp oil, cannibus, gummies, and pre rolls. Different kinds have differing relief. My wish is to be as pain free as possible while continuing to enjoy life to the fullest as much as possible, and being able to care of my kids. Your generosity would help bring me independent aids, ongoing pain relief through various herbs and oils. July 2026 marks the end of my benefit from Saskatchewan Government Insurance, when I reach my 64th year. It was difficult writing this. I have always strived to be an independent person, growing up in a farming community, being taught to be self- sufficient. This accident has completely changed everything. 618 will once again be open for Doors Open Winnipeg! This annual free @HeritageWinnipeg event encourages the public to explore historic buildings in the city. It's an opportunity for discovery, education, fostering community and appreciating Winnipeg's architectural and cultural heritage.
Our building dates back to 1912, when the Northland Knitting Co built it. In 2012 it was renovated using reclaimed materials, eclectic antiques, and a distinctive design approach. Now home to more than 30 artists, it blends historic character with contemporary creativity. This year marks the first Doors Open with our fourth floor and newly renovated lower level available for self-guided tours.
In addition to opening our doors for you to wander our historic building, we will also have 20+ artists on site with open studios! Some will be doing art demos, and all will be happy to talk to visitors about art and our building! We hope to see you there (and don't forget to enter the People's Choice Award, Social Media Contest, and Golden Boy Scavenger Hunt!)

This Mother’s Day, we invite you to be part of a story that’s equal parts heartwarming and empowering — where meaningful connections come together in a beautiful tradition.
Now in its 4th annual year, the Road Angels — a devoted and spirited group of women motorcyclists and proud trailblazers of Thunder Bay — will once again deliver love on two wheels to some of the most deserving and often-overlooked women in our community: the senior mothers of Chartwell Isabella Retirement Residence.
What the Road Angels recognized is something often hidden in plain sight — the quiet loneliness many mothers experience in senior living homes. Some have family far away, and others have no visitors at all. What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a powerful annual tradition, bringing joy, connection, and unforgettable moments filled with smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears.

Meet-Up Location: Tim Hortons – 419 Edward Street
Time: 1:15 PM
Lady Riders will gather for a short meet before riding together to the residence on Isabella Street East. Upon arrival, we’ll take a few moments outside — giving the residents that exciting rush of energy and the unmistakable sound of motorcycles they’ve come to love.
From there, we’ll head indoors to join the residents for a special Tea Social, graciously prepared by them for this year’s visit — a beautiful opportunity to sit, connect, and share stories together.
While the Tea Social lasts only a few hours in the early afternoon, its impact is felt all year long.
The Road Angels are proudly extending this invitation to fellow Lady Riders who would like to be part of something truly meaningful.
