The Opportunity:
The Parts Personnel is responsible for ordering stock and non-inventory parts from vendors as requested and providing prompt customer service to our mechanics. This role also monitors and corrects any discrepancies with the parts room inventory and organizes incoming stock from vendors.
Key Accountabilities:
- Review parts requests and provide vehicle repair parts to Mechanics
- Locate required parts through in-house inventory or order through appropriate vendors
- Document parts ordered and delivered in the work order system
- Receive incoming parts and supplies from vendor and process vendor invoices
- Work with outgoing parts and supplies that require return to the vendor and complete the appropriate paperwork
- Maintain and organize the tool room
- Label, stock and organize parts and supplies in the Parts room
- Package and ship parts/supplies to various Challenger locations
- Maintain, clean and ensure that the Parts room is kept organized (maintain 5S program)
- Perform routine inventory cycle counting as required
- Monitor and maintain inventory integrity
- Test and clean vehicle satellite components and send defective or damaged equipment to Shaw for repair
- Performing other maintenance duties as required
What You Need To Be Successful In This Role:
- Secondary School Diploma required
- 1-2 years of Parts counter experience required (Truck or Automotive)
- Parts Person Red Seal certification or working towards is an asset
- Truck and/or trailer parts knowledge is considered an asset
- Forklift certificate training is an asset (In house training available)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
- High attention to detail with an ability to count, check and confirm quantities

Backroads, the leader in Active Travel, is seeking to build a diverse team of seasonal Trip Prep Specialists to work behind the scenes in tandem with Trip Leaders to ensure smooth Trip Logistics before and after each departure.
The TPS position requires someone with a systematic and methodic approach to numerous logistical tasks, self-sufficiency, organization, attention to inventory detail, ability to maintain the exceptional condition of all bike equipment and the desire to create a great working environment with Trip Leaders and global operation teams. The TPS role is based in the hubs of our many regions but does not work "on trip."
As a TPS, you will likely work 35 - 40 hours each week with the amount of work varying based on the number of departures. You will be responsible for preparing and managing bikes, vans, trailers and trip-related paperwork. TPSs may also be scheduled to transport equipment from one region to another on "unit drives." This may be a quick trip from Tuscany to Southern France, or a longer haul from Utah to Alaska.

This job may be right for you if you enjoy:Performing full-cycle recruitment for full-time and seasonal positions at Sunshine Village including working with the hiring managers to understand the positions available and identifying an appropriate timeline, writing job postings, reviewing and shortlisting candidates, prescreens, scheduling and conducting interviews, performing reference checks, preparing offer letters and onboardingWorking with international agencies and partners to interview and hire candidates from all around the worldBuilding relationships with the operational teams to understand the seasonal labour requirements, positions, and culture of all business units at Sunshine Village to facilitate successful and suitable hiresTraining HR team in best recruitment practices and overseeing seasonal hiring goals to ensure the staff needed is suitable and available when neededMaximizing recruiting efforts within existing industry while attaining additional, creative, intuitive ways to find potential candidatesCoordinating and attending in-person and remote recruitment programming, including hiring/ job fairs, post-secondary institutions, and annual recruitment drives and initiatives, to promote Banff Sunshine as an employer of choice This is a flexible, dynamic role, and other duties and projects may be requested and assigned from time to time. And you have:Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a full-cycle recruiter (experience working in international recruitment and in seasonal, hospitality-focused workplaces is considered an asset)Designation or related post-secondary education in HR, Business, recruitment, or a closely related fieldWorking knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Dayforce or a similar HRIS systemExperience with high-volume, seasonal recruitment (considered an asset)Company Description:We work and play in Canada’s most beautiful playground, Banff National Park, and you can too.
