WHAT YOU’LL DO:

About The Role

Job Description:Job Description Quality Engineering Specialist – Toronto Office Reporting to Engineering Manager / Senior Program Manager Responsible for coordination of PPAP / ISIR processes for new programs, establishing quality performances, criteria, component costing, part validation. Working with engineering and production teams along with customers to ensure successful program launches through the use of APQP processes. Duties: 1) Establish PPAP requirements and timing for all new programs based on customers SOR. Provide feedback, feasibility and completion of all deliverables. 2) Provide support to engineering and production teams in the area of evaluation of tool trials, fixture validation, components and part quality. Establish corrective actions to improve dimensional results. 3) Collect all required documentation related to material, processes, dimensional results appearances and packaging for customer approval. 4) Provide updates on PPAP status through weekly development meetings and APQP meetings.
