Job Description:Job Description Ref 26378-MM EXPLEO CANADA est à la recherche d'un ingénieur concepteur de systèmes auxiliaires électriques pour se joindre à une équipe dynamique et en pleine expansion à Brossard, QC, Canada.L'ingénieur en conception de systèmes auxiliaires électriques sera responsable de la conception des systèmes auxiliaires électriques des générateurs et des turbines hydroélectriques et de l'équipement d'équilibre de l'usine (BOP) pour les projets installés. L'employé fournira également un soutien technique à la chaîne d'approvisionnement et aux activités du site liées aux générateurs hydroélectriques. The Electrical Auxiliary System Design Engineer will be responsible for designing hydro generator and turbine electrical auxiliary systems and Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment for installed-based projects. The employee will also provide technical support for supply chain and site activities related to hydro generators. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including project engineering managers, consulting engineers, suppliers, and customers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities:Deliver work packages for installed-based projects, following technical guidelines, design reviews, and feedback of experience (FOE).Supervise the work of electrical BOP engineers and draftsmen to ensure the timely delivery of design calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Independently prepare design calculations, technical specifications, drawings (supported by draftsmen), and BOMs.Collaborate with the supply chain and site installation teams to meet project milestones.Apply rules and concepts for reliability, quality, safety, and cost.Collaborate with project engineering managers to support project-specific requirements.Collaborate with consulting engineers and experts for FOE, design validation, and root cause analysis (RCA).Provide site support for commissioning and erection activities, including performing site surveys.Evaluate and respond to non-conformity reports.Lead technical conversations with suppliers and customers. Information Services Technician
The MD of Taber is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent Information Services Technician (IT). Looking for an individual with experience in planning, development, implementation, operation, and administration of information technology programs and services organization-wide. This role reports directly to the Director of Corporate Services and supports municipal operations through the delivery of information technology to meet the needs of staff, council, and residents.Key areas of responsibility are:
Responsible for delivering reliable IT services to the municipality including networking, enterprise hardware and software, desktop and mobile computing, help desk services, and IT project management services;
• Responsible for development and operation of the computerized information systems in all departments of the organization including maintaining and supporting local area network, internet and intranet, and telephone systems;
• Makes recommendations for technology improvement opportunities; provides technical expertise and industry knowledge to shape and inform the organizations IT;
• Works with Directors and outside partners to ensure that corporate information systems are adequately protected against the various and constantly evolving cyber threats;
• Responsible for installs, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Ensure that system backups, user access and password security processes including virus detection and shields are in place and updated;
• Responsible for maintaining software for the MD of Taber. This will include upgrades, enhancements and installation of new programs as required;
• Performs database maintenance, implements and maintains security, manages backup and performs restores when needed;
• Assist in developing IT operational policies and procedures;
• Providing training to staff, Management and Council members;
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Corporate Services;

As an Program Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Collaborates frequently to anchor and embed system design, by: a. supporting product owners and subject matter experts in decision making; b. guiding teams in design-related disciplines and practices that foster an open exchange of ideas; c. embodying lean and agile principles, as applied to system design.
Performs other related duties as assigned. The Solution Architect is accountable to the I&T Director for the fulfillment of the duties and has no assigned subordinates but provides architecture direction and technical guidance to EDO team members.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
9 to 12 years of directly related experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a role requiring application architecture design and definition.
An equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
Highly skilled in cloud architecture.
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work.
