01. DRIVETRAIN- MOTOR
The permanent magnet motor features an extremely compact and slim design well suited to the smaller chassis. It is air-cooled and due to its dust and waterproof layout, the motor is wear- and maintenance-free. The integrated control unit (ECU) guarantees a direct, but very controllable power delivery.
02. CHASSIS- FRAME
The KTM SX-E 5 has a modern frame design that is made of lightweight, high-strength Chromoly steel profiles and combines maximum longitudinal stiffness with optimum torsional rigidity. The subframe is made of lightweight, fiber-glass reinforced extruded plastic elements, which can be mounted in two positions for different seat heights. This means that the KTM SX-E 5 can 'grow' with your young racer.
03. ERGONOMICS & COMFORT- HANDLEBAR
The KTM SX-E 5 uses tapered NEKEN handlebars, made of a high-quality aluminum alloy ensuring top stability and safety. Its diameter tapers from 28 mm in the central area, to 22 mm in the bends, to 18 mm in the handhold area. This allows for a thinner lock-on ODI grip to be mounted on the left side while the right side features a newly developed throttle assembly with a vulcanized ODI grip, specifically developed for the electronic drive. The thinner diameter provides better grip for young riders while riding increasing control and drastically reducing fatigue. A crash pad on the handlebar brace protects the rider from rough contact.
04. BODYWORKS & GRAPHICS- DECALS
Modelled on the full-size motocross bikes, the KTM SX-E 5 features striking and modern graphics. Additionally, the graphics are applied using an in-mould process to ensure the best durability and quality.
05. SOFTWARE & ELECTRONICS- RIDE MODES
Using the multifunctional instrument located between steering head and seat, the user can select between the six different ride modes. Each mode offers different power characteristics suited for pure beginners all the way up to experienced racers. The instrument also displays the remaining charge of the battery.

At Highlight REEL Hockey School we instruct hockey skills programs and camps for all age groups and skills levels year round! We work with many Minor Hockey and Jr. Hockey organizations in the Simcoe Muskoka area. We are looking for people who share the love of the game who are excited and passionate about helping develop the next generation of hockey players in our area! We take pride in going above and beyond to help our players achieve their hockey goals on and off the ice!Specifically we are currently seeking assistant instructors and volunteers for Timbits hockey development programs. 2 hours a week. Depending on experience, $17-20 and hour. If successful there is opportunity for growth to be an Assistant, or Head Instructor with other programs.
Depending on the team/ age group of players/ amount of players etc. The pay for a head instructor can range from $40-$80 per session.
Qualifications
Must be able to skate and have experience playing hockey.
Must have experience working with youth
Must have great communication skills
Must be patient
Must be able to perform in a fast pace environment
Experience coaching hockey is preferred. Preferably 2 years of coaching/instructing or leadership experience.
Instruction experience at hockey camps is an asset.
