Esthetician Position:
We are looking for a compassionate Esthetician to perform facial treatments, body and facial hair removal such as waxing, threading, tinting, manicures and pedicures acrylic and gel extensions, make-up application, lash extensions and laser treatments. The Esthetician will consult with clients to assess their requirements, make informed recommendations and explain services, assist them to select appropriate treatments, and ensure their care and satisfaction. The Esthetician will ensure treatments start and end on time. You will maintain knowledge to promote and sell laser treatments and esthetics services. You will ensure work areas are clean and tidy, equipment is sanitized and linens are clean at all times, and treat clients in a courteous and empathetic manner.
To ensure success you should meet revenue goals, ensure client retention and build a solid client base. Ideal candidates will be empathetic, reliable, caring, ethical and professional, and have the ability to make others feel good about themselves.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute positively to the implementation of Nani’s Esthetics Vision and Mission, operate in a collaborative team setting, and maintain high productivity levels, strong work ethics and quality of work.
This is a full-time position, 30-40 hours per week.
Salary starting at $16 to $18/hour if the applicant has 3 or more years of related work experience and commensurate with the qualifications.
Will undergo 90 days work probation. Staff will be entitled for a group benefits and insurance upon passing the probationary period.
Esthetician Responsibilities:

3) Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule.4) Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
5) Interviewing clients to obtain information about contraindications, and examining skin to evaluate suitability of treatments.
6) Advising clients on skin care, and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens.
7) Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests.
8) Maintaining product knowledge to promote and sell esthetics and laser services, and skincare products.
9) Adhering to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance of equipment.
10) Caring for linens and replacing them between sessions.
11) Ceasing treatment and informing supervisor in the event of inappropriate guest behavior.
12) Book and rebook appointments as well as confirm spa appointments from time to time.
13) Help in spa cleaning, laundry, folding towels, tidying and disinfecting from time to time.
Esthetician Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate/s in Esthetics or Beauty Course.
Must possess CANS (Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia) Licensure to practice as an Esthetician.
3+ years related industry experience.
Proficient in performing above all applicable treatments preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Neat and with pleasing personality, outstanding people skills and warm, friendly manner.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to maintain client confidentiality.

Massage Therapist Position:
We are looking to recruit a professional, courteous Massage Therapist to provide our guests with a wide range of massage services. The Massage Therapist will consult with guests to screen them for underlying conditions, and to assist with selecting appropriate services. You will perform massages in a manner that prevents injuries to your wrists and other parts of your body. You will assist guests with inquiries, and explain treatments and packages in a courteous manner.
To ensure success, you need to assist guests with selecting the most appropriate services for their needs, be skilled at performing massages and ensure guest retention. Preferred candidates are friendly, guest-oriented and dexterous.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute positively to the implementation of Nani’s Esthetics Vision and Mission, operate in a collaborative team setting, and maintain high productivity levels, strong work ethics and quality of work.
This is a full-time position, 30-40 hours per week. Salary ranges from $30 to $40.00/hour if you have more than 1-2 years experience which commensurate with our required qualifications.
Massage Therapist Responsibilities:
Attending and participating in meetings and training sessions. Ensuring clean, safe and well-organized spa facility.
Setting up spa and work stations, and ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout shift.
Assisting with keeping linens clean and tidy, and replacing them between sessions. Sterilizing equipment.
Accompanying guests to and from treatment rooms.
Consulting with clients to identify appropriate massage services. Providing massage services listed in our brochure.
Maintaining records and filing documentation.
Complying with all applicable standards, rules and regulations.
Massage Therapist Requirements:Massage therapy program certificate/diploma or suitable equivalent.
With 2200 hours Massage Therapist Program/Diploma in Canada is a plus.
Minimum of 1 or more years work experience as a massage therapist.
Proficient knowledge of reflexology, Swedish, prenatal, hot stone, trigger point, sports and deep tissue massage.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent people skills, must be customer service oriented, Positive attitude, Team player, Well-groomed and professional appearance.
Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods.
Comfortable with performing massages on diverse clients.
License/Certification or proof of application submission required(MTANS).
Perform 60-minute massage, 5 Massages a day with 15minutes interval.
Exhibit a strong desire to help others and promote the health and wellness and be able to convey the benefits of massage therapy.
Must adhere to local and state licensing/certification laws and regulations (MTANS).
Must carry liability insurance.
Knowledge of another modalities/certifications is a plus.
Maintain a professional and clean work spa environment and appearance.
Outstanding people skills and warm, friendly manner.
Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
Must be willing to work extended hours if necessary.
Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat massage appointments.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, disinfecting and sanitation at all times in her massage room and adhere to sanitization spa protocols.
Should be able to keep abreast of the latest massage techniques to ensure that clients are satisfied with the services provided.
May book and rebook appointments as well as confirm spa appointments from time to time.
