MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all food safety guidelines
Prepare all ingredients and assemble recipes so they are ready to be used for daily meal preparations
Prepare food on the grill , including proteins, vegetables, noodles and other products while monitoring all temperatures and ensuring safe cooking
Carefully plate and present food for takeout or dine in - making sure to present clean appetizing detailed dishes
Cleaning and maintaining the work area including grill, deep fryer, prep area and any tools used through the shift
Maintaining and keeping track of inventory for daily/weekly production of recipes
Receiving inventory
Performing all opening and closing assignments as instructedQUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a college culinary certificate OR the equivalent of a minimum three years of commercial cooking in a high-volume restaurant is required. Food Handling certificate is required.EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
