Our family in Canmore, Alberta is seeking a warm, caring and responsible full-time nanny to care for our precious little guy in a live-out arrangement starting early to mid February. We're offering a competitive rate of $20 hourly for the right candidate, and the rate may be flexible depending on experience and qualifications. Seeking reliable, energic nurse (RPN or RN) to work with a child who is ventilator and wheelchair dependant, and requires 24/7 airway monitoring.
Shifts: every other Saturday (ie 2/month) and 2 evenings/week. More shifts available if interested.
Pay Rate: starting at $33/hour (RPN rate)
During your shift you will be responsible for:
- managing respiratory care (including ventilator and suction machines),
- managing trach care,
- g-tube feeds,
- managing gtube care,
- administering medications,
- using a cough assist (an artificial cough assistant device),
- Range of motion, physio,
- experience with Hoyer lift,
- activities of daily living (ADLs), and
- General care as needed.
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted licence to practice through the College of Nurses of Ontario
- A valid driver’s licence and vehicle
- A clear vulnerable sector check
- Current CPR certification
- Proof of liability insurance (if you're registered through CNO you have it already)

Employment requirements:

• The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.
