The Child Care Assistant (CCA) assists the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) with providing high quality early learning and child care. To be considered successful in this role, you’ll be expected to safely unload/load trucks and railcars with hot asphalt. You’ll also help ensure the safe and efficient operation of the asphalt terminal which includes the production of the quality asphalt products.Please note this a permanent, full-time, seasonal position (approximately March 1 – December 1).
Here is a preview of what you’ll be doing:
Become proficient in all aspects of terminal operation
Handle multiple responsibilities including customer service, monitor efficiencies, use the truck scale, write safe work permits, and assist in asphalt orders
Load/unload trucks/railcars with hot asphalt product
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot systems within the terminal
