The Falls A Family Lodge Hotel is located at 5612 Ellen Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario L2G 7V5. The hotel has been operating since April 2016 and is in the heart of Niagara Falls, close to all Clifton Hill and all the main attractions.
The hotel is seeking to hire a Housekeeper Supervisor. This is a full time, permanent position for 35-40 hours per week. The wage is $36.00 per hour. Completion of secondary school is required. Minimum one year work experience.
Job duties are listed below:
• Prepare work schedule and co-ordinate activities with those of other departments
• Supervise and co-ordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
• May perform certain cleaning duties.
• Hire and train cleaning staff
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met

Duties
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Follow all sanitation and food handling protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is advantageous
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with serving, upselling, cashiering, and basic math skills for cash handling transactions
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
